What a historical season it has been for Virginia Tech Women’s Basketball. For the first time in program history, the Hokies are ACC Tournament Champions and earned a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
Virginia Tech will host rounds one and two of the bracket right here in Blacksburg, VA. Round one games will be played on Friday night, while round two games will be played on Sunday afternoon.
All games will be played inside Cassell Coliseum and both games that Virginia Tech will be playing in (if they win on Friday and advance to Sunday) sold out within hours of being on sale.
Events like this are a spectacle and create memories for teams and fans alike that will last a lifetime. So, who makes it all run?
Giovanni Heater sat down with Virginia Tech Assistant Athletic Director of Strategic Communications, Travis Wells, to find out.
