Giovanni Heater is a play-by-play broadcaster, studio anchor, reporter, content creator, podcast host and graphic designer from Syracuse, New York. Heater has spent the last two years as the play-by-play voice of the Salem Red Sox (Single-A, Boston Red Sox). He is also a part of the Virginia Tech Sports Network, calling play-by-play of Virginia Tech baseball and softball for Playfly Sports. In addition, Giovanni calls games and hosts studio shows on the ACC Network Extra with experience in a variety of sports. He was previously a Broadcast Coordinator for 3304 Sports, calling Virginia Tech football and basketball. Heater also spent two years as the host of the Tech Sideline Podcast, covering all things Virginia Tech Athletics. Giovanni is a graduate of the Sports Media and Analytics Program at Virginia Tech.
